From Tony Bennett to Chris Brown, the music industry will be out in full force in Las Vegas Monday night for the Billboard Music Awards.
So far the only reported cancellation is (gasp!) Paris Hilton.
The presenter is reportedly upset about jokes written for her that she thought would be offensive to her “friends.”
I guess since Hilton has a CD of her own, she puts herself up there with the likes of Beyonce, Rascal Flatts and the esteemed Mr. Bennett.
Touching, really.
The Billboard Music Awards air Monday night on FOX at 8 p.m. EST.

Performers billed to perform live at the show include Janet Jackson, Fergie, The Killers, Gwen Stefani and The Fray.
Billboard’s music charts have long been the world’s most authoritative. Winners are determined by the 2006 year-end charts, which reflect the weekly charts that Billboard published from December 2005 through November 2006.
Bennett will receive the Billboard Century Award, and no, that doesn’t go to the oldest artist on the charts (although Bennett, at age 80, is). The Century Award is Billboard’s highest honor. Previous honorees include George Harrison, Tom Petty and Sting.
Hip-hop superstar Chris Brown released the single with the infectious beat “Run It” at the tender age of 16 and became the first solo artist with a song that went straight to the top of the Billboard singles chart. It listed for 51 weeks.
He goes up against two bands in the Artist of the Year category, rockers Nickelback and country stars Rascal Flatts, who are both up for Duo/Group of the Year honors.
Beyonce, who is generating a lot of Oscar buzz already for her role in the upcoming musical “Dreamgirls,” vies for Female Artist of the Year, while co-star Jamie Foxx is up for Male Hip Hop Artist of the Year.
Meanwhile, the non-feud between country divas Faith Hill and Carrie Underwood will go for round two, as the blond bombshells face off against each other for Female Country Artist of the Year.
You may recall that at the Country Music Awards last month, Hill feigned anger and exclaimed “What?!” into the camera when Underwood won the CMA award for Female Artist of the Year.
To be fair, Faith did the same thing to her husband Tim McGraw when they were up for Entertainer of the Year against one another a few years ago, giving credence to her claim that she was just joking.
We’ll see if the joke continues Monday night, or if Underwood will return the sentiment if Hill wins.
